Like so many of the benefits of acai, the benefits seen by sufferers of diabetes owe a lot to the presence of anthocyanins.

Anthocyanins (see this article) protect blood vessels from being damaged by rogue cells. Damage to these blood vessels is much more common in cases where people have a high blood/sugar level, so the protection is much more effective in diabetics.

Hello,..just signed on here. My buddie is registering up on here now and is taking amazon thunder since jan 8th for his Diabetes. And its a miracle what is done and doing. I'll let him tell his story. I don't have diabetes but use thunder too lose weight and its working casue its stopped all craving of junk food,..i eat good food. Hi Dan 49 just checking in4/10/09 was 378 now 301 down 77 lbs sence I started... blood work is like a none diabetic no more fighting the BG up,s and down,s off all my med,s feel great...can not walk any distance 50 yard,s with a cane or other walking device very limited because of a back injury excercise is next to imposible... Acai and a good diet thank,s to amozon thunder it is a great life change ..with awsome reasult,s...it has been 3 month,s sence I started this.
