 Suspect Claims
I have read some pretty amazing claims about acai and how wonderful it is. I can understand some, but helping your immune system? Really?

 Re: Suspect Claims
This is my first post.
I'm no expert on Acai but I have been following the story with some interest. I'm majoring in food science, you see.
The immune system really is helped by antioxidants, so any food that has good antioxidant properties can actually help your immune system. It helps other things too.
Most people see acai as a 'super food' because the antioxidants; they're great, but there are some other good ingredients in there, too.

 Re: Suspect Claims
Antioxidants really do help. Acai is not -- by any means -- the only fruit to contain antioxidants, but you would be hard pushed to find something that packs so much nutrition into so little space.
The antioxidants in the acai berry, combined with the essential fatty acids, work as an effective anti-bacterial and anti-viral agent. They also boost the immune system.

 Re: Suspect Claims
Antioxidants are very helpful. I haven't Acai yet but I will and see the health benefits of it.
