Post Kids and Acai
I'm eager to try some acai with my family. I've heard that it is a great way to get everyone fit and healthy.

I have a couple of young kids, though. Would it be safe to give acai to my children? What effect will the acai have on younger bodies? Above all I don't want to harm them!

Isn't acai just a fruit? If you would feed your kids an apple, then is there any reason you wouldn't feed them acai?

Juices are probably going to be easier for you to convince them to take it. Taking this further, some of the supermarkets do blends which might be just that little bit nicer.

Here's one I tried at Wegmans which was really tasty.

Blends are not as healthy or as good for you as the 100% pure stuff but I guess if you can get your kids to drink it then it is better than nothing. I dunno.

I did quite a lot of research into the stuff that goes into some of the capsules of 'acai' that are sold on the web. Only a few are actually what they claim to be.

Stick with someone youtrust.

Just to repeat what others have said: acai itself is a fruit. Some of the better acai products (I am starting to use use Amazon thunder) contain nothing but acai. Some of the not so good options contain very little acai at all.

Fruit is good. Undefined chemicals are bad.

The original post asked about acai, not about acai capsules!

Anyway, point taken.
